Roughly: 15 years in Ferguson (in the boring part near the old train station, but I am also familiar with the streets #BLM was born on), 5 in the Central West End, 10 on South Grand, 5 Downtown. (And then on to Seattle.)
I’m an urban rat. St. Louis is lovely but no part of it is quite dense and vibrant enough for my taste. Though there are certainly gems and I enjoy my return visits.
Though there is a limit! Much of Manhattan is too busy for me, as are some neighborhoods here in Amsterdam.
Awesome. I lived on South Grand for a year, across from Compton Hill Reservoir Park. Loved it there. And St Louis is less dense than a lot of other cities from what I hear. I've been to/from the 8th & Pine Metro to a coffee shop and back and didn't see a soul one time. Hope you're enjoying Amsterdam! :)
