Here's an inexhaustive list of things that are better than that loop:

A large part of this problem is empathy. Dawkins' Selfish Gene and whatever... if you care, you make an effort not to procreate because like... your unborn child certainly can't consent to that and literally is there anyone who's like "yay I'm so glad I was born"

So this problem isn't widespread because it's not self-serving enough to be well-represented in the gene pool

Instead we get antivax minions
