Exactly! A lot of the time, I can't help but wonder why the tone has shifted so drastically besides the passing of time. Maybe the internet has a part to play in that? Anyways, I'm definitely not saying that making things more lighthearted will fix society's issues (or fixed any of the issues society had back then either), but it absolutely makes life more bearable I believe.
