Nothing to write home about

If I weren't home anyway, since I'm working mostly from home at the moment because of COVID-19, there really wouldn't be much to write home about today. Mostly uneventful, day-to-day business.

Got up, baked bread for dinner, sat down in front of the laptop, polished a paper, helped colleagues, ordered things, had lunch and spent the rest of the day repeating the aforementioned , minus baking bread and having lunch.

There was, however, one small highlight. In order to apply for a user certificate, I had to identify myself to the CA via video identification. The colleague in charge was also working from home, but he definitely had the nerdier network infrastructure at hand: rackmounted switches in large quantities blinking ahead in the background. Loved it!

That's it for today.
