I'm sure a lot of you know the feeling. Just staring at a screen, all damn day. Even though it's the best weather Florida's had in a good while. Just been grinding out a research project. Interesting content, but genuine interest can only carry me so far. 20 more minutes, then I swear I'll log off for the night, and then take advantage of the weather and go outside and not smoke a cigar, because I'm back home with my parents.
Cheers.
I'm contemplating how much of my time is spent in front of a screen. And it's actually scary. I juggle with different screens: my computer laptop, my personal laptop, my phone, the TV. I look at different screens at different time of the day. Oh well. I hope your research project is making good progress Shiloh!
I'm just student and usually introverted but honestly being alone with my anxiety and stress just makes it so much worse. I'd rather brave the insane drivers that live around me for an hour every morning and night instead of staring at this screen for one more minute during classes
I've been working remotely since 2000 but for a brief stint as an IT specialist for an after-school program. So I get staring at a screen all damn day.
That said, I remember drives to/from brick 'n mortar, the parking lot, cafeterias, clothing concerns, gobs of other inefficiencies in the name of making a buck or two.
I'll take staring at a screen all damn day any/every day.
