I finally understand personal reading

I finally understand personal reading. It's taken me about 12 years to find

out why I like it.

My go-to reading device was a Fire 7 tablet that I had gotten at Black Friday

one year, several years ago. Reading worked with the built-in Kindle app,

but it was a slow, and a pain in the ass. There were ads all over the device,

not to mention it's from Amazon.

Using money I got for graduating high school, I purchased a Kobo Clara HD. It

arrived today, and I spent the last few hours reading the Forward collection

from Amazon. I began reading it on the Fire 7, but got the books from various

places online. These few short stories made something in my brain click.

I have been missing out on so many great tales from so many great authors. My

brain has been looking for something to occupy itself and I think this is it.

My goal this summer is to read as many books as I can this summer, with at

least one per month. Here's to goals and making ourselves better people.
