I do stuff. I like doing a *lot* of stuff. I've got some 3D printers and some
lab space, and a work bench, and I like using all of them. I use Habitica to
keep track of the stuff I want to do, so this isn't really a tracker, but more
a repository of notes and documents on the projects I'm doing.
I also have started doing a weird thing with my projects. When I was studying
my thesis was on education in a complex field that needs both academic skill
and vocational skill. To that end, I try to do all of my projects that way, and
I find it gives me a more enriching experience to do it that way. That said, I
design my projects that require me to learn something as competency-based
research projects so I can learn something new in the process. So, more or less
I blindly design a class with a goal in mind, and my only measure of success is
whether or not I have a successful item at the end.
Other projects are more traditionally laid out, because I have at least the
basic knowledge to be able to anticipate, work through, and implement the
project.
