Congratulations!

You're done creating an account. You now have a Gemini account on Ondollo. (You might even be in edit mode right now...)

Did you notice how you didn't have to provide an email, or choose a username, or decide if you were going to reuse a password?

We hope you enjoyed the experience of creating a free account.

The page you're looking at right now is *your* account's home page... which we've also made available online. You can access the content of this page in a normal web browser. Copy the link at the bottom of this page and paste it into a web browser and see - you have a webpage online! Any edits you make to this page will automatically be available at that link.

You can see the links above for editing this page as well as creating a new page. Those links and the messages just after them are not part of this page - they're just added by the server, since it knows that you own this page.

As explained below - when you're done editing a page, just press Ctrl-e and your changes will be saved, or press Escape to throw away all your changes and go back to where you were before.

Please edit this page, we'll try to stay out of your way - the only caution: words have meaning and they matter.

A few Extra Bits of Information

Editing this page uses non-core functionality - an extension to the core Gemini protocol. The Mansfield client supports this custom functionality on the Ondollo server. We expect most, if not all, other clients to *not* have the same support for editing this page the same way (at least until some other client implements it). On Ondollo, for now, use of the Mansfield client is the only way to edit Gemini space pages.

A word - to edit this page, just follow the edit link -- but -- you'll want to know that to 'finish' editing, you'll need to press Ctrl-e. If you're editing a page and press Ctrl-e, then all of the content shown in the editor will become the content of the edited page.

Also, another word - to create a new page the server will ask your Gemini client for the name of the new page. The Mansfield client will go into an edit mode and allow you to enter text. In this mode, once you press the Enter key, the name will be sent to the server, the page will be created, and you will be taken to it with new edit and create links.
