I would like to have a way to auto generate a "tags" gemini page with links to all of the associated pages under each tag. Vimwiki can do this by adding tags to each page or heading using the syntax:
:tag1:tag2:tag3:
I would like to find or come up with something similar with Gemini.
I have been very happy running the XMPP prosody server on a raspberry pi 3b. It works great for IM, audio and video calls. I am curious if I would get similar performance on a older raspberry pi such as the 2b.
Another thing that I need to change from an operational point of view is the uptime in the event of a power outage. Currently, I do not have a batter backup so if the power goes out even for a few seconds, the Pi restarts. After a reboot, prosody does not automatically restart and does not even start when manually running,
prosodyctl start
I found that the problem is caused by the missing directory, /var/run/prosody which is linked to /run. If I manually create the directory and change ownership to the prosody user, it starts fine. I need to spend the time to figure out what is causing this.
I reinstalled Newsboat on my laptop again in an attempt to selectively get news (on topics that interest me) without having to open a web browser.
Still thinking of ways to use the buku bookmark manager with gemini links.
