"I'm not merging master, I have a tool that gives me the last successful
CI build's commit hash, I merge that usually." - me

"Why? We've been green for several weeks now. And master being red is
high priority." - other dev

Obviously we've been red for a week now.

Merging in changes that fail on CI is a convenience so that I don't
have to think about if the error is bc of my change or is inherited. Add
flaky tests and it's even worse.
