Museums

I went to a museum today, for the first time since the pandemic. Folks remained masked and socially distanced well, so I felt good about the level of risk vs. the reward.

I love museums. My vision of utopia definitely has room for public spaces where people can gather to appreciate art work, or historical pieces, or things that are just _interesting_.

I wonder what a completely democratic museum would look like. Would people submit their works for judgment by the broader museum-going public, or would we delegate decisions about inclusion to a (rotating, elected) museum committee?

I'm excited to be going to museums again, and definitely plan to visit more as things (hopefully) continue to open up.
