The paper masks I see lying around, are light and easily caught by the wind. I don't really blame folks for occasionally losing track of one.
And once they're on the ground, who wants to pick up anyone else's Covid mask? The entire point is, it captures the virus. And the paper ones pretty much all look the same. Not touching that.
Its pretty impressive and extremely sad how fast humans can start mass polluting with any object.
