I'd also like to see optional content hashes to aid caching and archiving.
What I miss about the pre-HTTPs days was that personalizing the webexperience was something that could be done independently of the browservia proxies, be it caching, ad-blocking, or text manipulation.
I'd like to see proxies make a comeback, and local caching proxies seemlike good place a good start.
