Disillusioned by modern gaming, I've primarily been playing games for the original PlayStation since early 2018. What was initially going to be a one-year experiment just ended up becoming the norm. This isn't driven by nostalgia for games I played as a child. I had notoriously bad taste as a child and kept renting absolutely terrible licensed platformer games instead of the JRPGs my friends and colleagues keep raving about. This is about experiencing influential works in video games, and playing them in Japanese to keep my skills sharp.
