GEOS deskTop is a desktop-style graphical operating system for 8-bit
Apples. GEOS uses the DHR graphics screen for its display. Included are
GEOWrite, GEOPaint, GEOSpell, GEODictionary, and several desk accesories
that run under GEOS. There are also demos of GEOCalc, GEOFile, and
GEOPublish. GEOS can be installed on a hard drive or other large
capacity drive using the included utility. Originally from Berkely
Softworks, the current copyright holder, Breadbox Computer Co., has
reclassified the Apple version of GEOS as freeware.
