While on our way to the midnight.pub colony we have detected an unusual amount of communications activity emanating from a nearby system. At this distance it simply appears as a disturbance on our sensors. The comms officer believes that an outpost (capsule) may be responsible for the increase in activity. We have altered course and are on our way to the source of the disturbance.
As we approached the source of the disturbance we have uncovered that there are multiple sources generating the communications activity. The crew has deciphered some of the comms activity and we now believe that the source we are currently enroute to is the AuraGem outpost (search engine), which the Gemini Protocol outpost made mention of.
We have arrived at the source of the communications disturbance we initially detected and it indeed is the AuraGem outpost (capsule). Our scans show that the outpost has been modified to act as a repository of information. Geminispace travelers can submit queries and receive answers based on the content of the repository. Engineering reports that the communications activity we detected is the outpost seeking information (coordinates and data available) form other outposts. We have also confirmed the coordinates of other similar outposts (Gemplex, Kennedy and TLGS) that are still active. This is an amazing find to say the least and one that will aid us in our future travels.
