< what's your favorite keyboard?
Just under 10 years ago, I needed a keyboard for my new computer I built from salvaged parts. The entire computer cost only $300, and of that, $100 was just the harddrive so you can imagine I was on a tight budget for everything. I needed a keyboard so I went to my local office supply store and picked up their cheapest keyboard, a Logitech K120 for $15. Flash forward to now, and I'm still using that exact same keyboard. I've since upgraded computers, a few times actually, but the one constant is that keyboard. Its been through some abuse, and man is it starting to squeak on some keys, but as far as key feel and overall build quality, I haven't even seen a $100 keyboard that can come close.
That's really funny. I had an HP Keyboard that came with my 2009 PC and I got so used to it I was overjoyed to find one in outstanding condition at my local Good Will so I was able to keep using it until I switched to a WASD keyboard in 2019. Five years later I did switch to what I'm using now.
