8 ‎[1] AND IF HER MEANS SUFFICE NOT. This means the same as but if his means suffice not (see Lev. 5:11).

‎[2] AND THE PRIEST SHALL MAKE ATONEMENT FOR HER, AND SHE SHALL BE CLEAN. This teaches that if the *kohen* does not make atonement for her she shall not be clean. This applies only in the Land of Israel.
