Hi there — I'm a teacher and unix enthusiast. My recent explorations in "retro" computing led me in a round-about way to gopher and eventually to gemini. I wanted to give it a try! So far it's really fascinating. I'm having fun browsing the various gemini aggregators, subscribing to users whose posts I've found thoughtful. It's scratching the itch I have to read lots of different people's perspectives on things without making me depressed like algorithm-driven social media does...
