Re: "Ensemble - a new puzzle game for Gemini"
I changed the settings. I see the inline image and the link under that. is it just 1 image? or each card is in line??
edit: I prefer the text version, it's more gemini-y feel to it.

Yeah, I am definitely more into the text version. I didn't think the imgage one is possible at all until Skyjake pointed out how to hide images in data URL, and was tempted... I did spend a lot of time figuring out how to make it work in text mode.

just verifying, the "enter 3 cards" link on the text version is not live yet, correct?
đ stack [OP] ¡ Oct 12 at 02:42:
It's a mock-up, not working

+1 for text
đ mbays ¡ Oct 12 at 08:34:
text, definitely. I'd also appreciate monochrome and ascii-only options. I wouldn't mind the image version too much if it were a normal link, but the clients I use don't support data uris (and nor do I want them to)

Text is the better choice in terms of compatibility, although I like the visual clarity of the image. How about doing both? đ
The black text background makes it look a bit too dark for me, though. How about using the BG color for the tile colors?
đ satch ¡ Oct 12 at 13:23:
Yeah the visibility for the text version leaves something to be desired but could definitely be improved.

I will mock-up a gray background, but it will make colors less obvious . Darknes actually helps: on light background it is almost impossible to see colors with thin lines...

I like it. +1 for text as well
I own a copy of this game. it's fun
Ensemble - a new puzzle game for Gemini â I am considering putting together a new-old puzzle for Geminauts based on the game Set. I have two options: =============== Inlined image version requires Lagrange with a couple of settings tweaked: Preferences/Network/Max URL size: 32767 Preferences/Content/Open images in Data URLs: on Once these are set, click on the mockup link below and let me know if you can see it and what you think... [gemini link] Also please let me know if you think it's too...
