Markdown is partially supported in Lagrange. By default, .md files are shown as plain text. However, you can disable the "View Markdown as source" setting and then you will see a rendering of the Markdown document using the Gemtext renderer. It supports italic, bold and monospace styling, and can draw horizontal rules. However, anything more advanced like inline links or tables are not supported.

@skyjake, what is Lagrange designed to do when opening markup .MD files? Thanks.
