something that could be practical at the same time as learning english is to use gtypist, a command line typing tutor. It will improve your typing skills while at the same time learn some basic english. You could also load custom practice, and type a whole book as a typing practice/ learning excercise
Join an active IRC channel that's English-language and is related to a topic you're interested in. Basically, practice conversation.
