Absolutely, reading, writing, enjoying music that's not too loud and/or distracting are very hobbit activities. I enjoy reading slowly, taking my time and enjoying the process. What do you like to read ?
If I have to be truthful, as of lately I tend to read stuff from my online friends, even if sometimes they aren't quite good.

Reading correspondence from friends is always time well spent. I would rather read something my friend wrote than random large web blogs and article sites. it makes the connection with that friend stronger even if you do not write that often to each other. Getting some news from a friend in any form is always good. Irony is people are now less connected to their friends with all instant messaging, DM, and social media is available. Also the quality of conversation is on decline.

I love a hobbit life!! Personally, reading in winter, wrapped with various blankets and drinking something hot, some biscuits.. maybe a cat is, like, the one thing I wish I was doing right now….
