Ok online dating is depressing so I'm goin full goblin mode with it. They say "what would be your warning label" on hinge and my answer is "iunno toxic or fragile lmao." It's not gonna go anywhere so I'm rollin it. "I like a guy who jumps into things" "what like from a bridge." I will not stop. Until I get bored, which is very soon. I can only read about liking dogs so many times.

@five_over_four Ah, yeah, some profiles are great to read for a good laugh. Some are intentionally funny, others are not. I also think that some people actually do look for pics where they reflect their hobbies in these apps. · 2 months ago

@resetreboot one profile had a quiz for "would you rather: 1. have a great ass, 2: have a great personality," so i wrote "my personality is already ass" so it's goin pretty well.

also. it's weird how visible people's hobbies are on their face. any time i've seen someone mention metal on their bio, it's black hair, covered in tats lol. i don't look like my hobbies at all. conventionally pretty? "openness and mutual respect," uh huh. i saw a profile bio that said "spit preworkout in my mouth" and laughed lol. · 3 months ago

I payed around $300 single fee on bumble. Don’t have to worry about subscriptions anymore or writing messages first. Also, I made zero progress with this app. It’s either nobody likes me or bumble is not showing me to people enough or not showing me to compatible people cause I’m done giving them my money. Go figure. But I think of it a little bit like fishing: I threw in a net and went to do other things. If something will catch - great; if not - well, I’m still where I was, no harm in that. · 3 months ago

Don't give up just yet. A few years ago I tindered around aimlessly and found the love of my life that way. · 3 months ago

I hear you. They all show you that people have liked you but ask for money to show them up. And of course, the match is just like a slot machine. They want you to keep on the app, so they will try not to really match you. Especially if you are looking for a stable relationship. The moment you get it... you don't need them anymore! Hope you have a lot of fun with your goblin mode! · 3 months ago
