I know how you must have felt. Its one of those thing that only another vim user can understand. Have you ever tried explaing the vim-way to a non-vim user ? After couple of minutes of logical explaination, looking at the confusion at their face, I realize, this is something that can not be explained. Vim needs to be experienced and unfortunately only select few has that much amount of patience and will to learn and adapt.

I have been using VimWimi for years now and love it.
I'm always confused on fresh installed servers or containers when there's only nano or some other non-modal editor. I hit <ESC>:wq and look stupid.

Vim, the editor, the notekeeper and the IDE — Some of the vim shorcuts which gets used a lot has become past of the muscle memory after few years of using vim. I am still learning new functionality almost everyday. Its like knowing someone very well and still be surprised every now and then after finding out new and interesting things about them. Vim is familiar, moving hand to the mouse feels weird when using any other text editor. Few days ago I had to use a Windows machine (😧), and I had to...
