I'm trying to paste some text into clagrange, but it ain't happening. So I'll keep this short. `chawan` is a new text-based www browser that has the right stuff. I can see it replacing w3m for general purpose terminal web usage. Unlike `browish` and `carbonyl`, `chawan` has its own rendering engine. It also works over gemini.

I just tried this out, and it's amazing. The layout and CSS support is vastly superior to Links2, Dillo, NetSurf, or even Servo! To be honest, I think I could just about use this as my daily driver! · 1 week ago

You can change the return key behaviour to line break and Shift+Return to send — at least in "GUI" Lagrange you can, it's on UI page in preferences. I'm not sure if you can do it in TUI version though. · 2 weeks ago

`chawan` is still a bit green. I couldn't get the images to show up, and I didn't get any JS interactivity like I did with `carbonyl`, even after changing the config. I didn't see any way to save bookmarks. The biggest headache is the lack of help. But you can get a list of keybindings here:
$ cha -V
Unlike `carbonyl` -- which brags it is 50x faster than `browish`, `chawan` is fast. You can use it today.
