I see myself and my past with much more clarity now. I don't think it's just hindsight (some of it, yes, for sure), as I have recently felt like I finally found myself. Or... this is a midlife crisis. Which I wouldn't necessarily see as a bad thing: I worked hard to get where I am, I can finally do stuff I couldn't do when I was young and too busy following other people's rules.

Working hard for where you are, but finding out it isn't what you want. I am at the top of the mountain, but it is lonely and cold here.

I like what you wrote there. I think when you are changing and evolving at a greater pace, you start to see your past, and understand more. At one point, for me, I look at my past and I surprised how thing have changed since then. It's a good feeling, like being on top of a mountain and seeing the path that was taken to get there. · 2 months ago

@bavarianbarbarian yep! It is time to slow down and enjoy life day by day. I went for a long run this morning and it was beautiful. Now I am on my 3rd cup of tea, just chilling on the couch. Still no cat back in my life, but *soon*. · 2 months ago
