@bavarianbarbarian I had covid once and it was the worst I have ever felt in my entire life, and I was ill for almost three weeks. I know a lot of people for whom it was similar to a cold or a flu. I was not that lucky. I can't fully express how bad I felt, but know I am someone with a very high pain tolerance. (Up to my teenage years, I was ill a lot and had a couple near death experiences). I really do not want to experience covid like that again. Also I travel a lot, so I am exposed a lot, and vaccines have been statistically on the safe side. I will get a flu shot too at some point for the same travel related reason. · 2 months ago
@danrl that's the idea. I am at an age where these check ups are more necessary, however I also want to be a bit healthier as in the past few years I have neglected it a bit. · 2 months ago
@melyanna glad to hear that the gods have been with you :) but i have a serious question, why for the sake of Odin did you take covid vaccine? that stuff was not even really tested (my mom works in the pharma, new meds need years to be allowed to be on the market). i had covid twice and a cold is much more worse, in my case. · 2 months ago

I got more tests done (blood work, maybe I was inspired by danrl) and I should be done this year. I did get a horrible cold and a strong reaction to my covid vaccine, so the past few days I had no energy. But I am fine. :) · 2 months ago
ok, bragging time :) they pulled 7 small capsules of blood for whatever tests are needed. i did not faint (good) and i got a dinosaur patch to cover the pinch hole (even better). im in my forties, but i think they could tell i have yet to grow up. the dinosaur patch made my day. lol.
