After some soul-searching, I've decided to call the KONPEITO project done. I know y'all were fiending for the new tape but it seems like there's always something else diverting my attention and that's usually a really good sign my heart isn't in it.

Does anyone know of a complete mirror of Konpeito still in existance? I think have part of the music downloaded, but I think I lack the last few releases.
I only saved mp3 zips. Think I have all but one of the releases. I could throw it on my ftp if you need it.

That would be very nice of you @istvan. I really only "need" the zips anyway, since I guess they contain the artwork and the other things associated with the releases. But even so, the most important thing is the music, I think. Thank you!

Whatever happened to Konpeito? — I was looking around the corners of Geminispace that I used to frequent, when I discovered that the Konpeito site is down, and seemingly has been for a while. A few people are hosting backup mirrors, but I'm interested to know what happened behind the scenes, if anyone knows anything. Mainly, I'm wondering why the project ended, and if there's any sort of alternative, sister project, or successor!
