I love the idea of becoming "indistractable". I wrote some thoughts on it. https://martinrue.com/be-indistractable

@hedy @danrl I'm the same as you guys! It's getting harder and harder to stay focued, and fight the crazy levels of distraction. There's more reason than ever now to level up our skills at becoming aware of this, and of how we're sometimes accidentally, or by algorithmic coercion, missing out on our own potential. Glad you guys found it useful :) · 2 weeks ago
that book you mentioned there immediately got added to my reading list :) · 2 weeks ago
I love these tips. It's become even more important today than ever due to all the things on the internet, billboards, and elsewhere that fights for your attention.
Sometimes I find myself not being able to completely finish reading an article without wanting to check something on another site elsewhere.
Becoming conscious of the cases when I'm about to be distracted is extremely useful for self-reflection, and to remind myself to not make the same mistake the next time.
I'm reminded of "Digital Minimalism" and other books by Cal Newport. "Indistractable" will be on my reading list! · 2 weeks ago
