Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights (em.hyprnote.shk) was the first in the

HyperNotes series to be released - August, 1996 by the HyperNotes author - Carmen

Anderson. These very impressive and well designed HCGS stacks are a welcomed

addition to the IIGS.

System requirements: Apple IIGS with 1.5MB minimum, 4MB recommended System 6.0 or

6.0.1 with Tool 35 installed (it's found on the synthLAB disk and must be put in

the *:system:tools folder on the boot disk. Installing synthLAB using the

Install disk automatically installs Tool 35 as well.)

HyperNotes stacks are for use with - HyperCard IIGS v1.1

The HyperNotes, are a new concept in study aids. Like traditional paperback

study aids such as the popular Cliff Notes, HyperNotes offers chapter summaries

and commentaries. Unlike the paper products, HyperNotes are HyperCard IIGS

stacks and use the features of this program to make studying literature easier

and more effective. Using the automatic search feature, for example; click on the

Find button, type in a word or phrase and the stack is searched. Even study

music is included, in SynthLab format.

Notes provided with each release give more information on all seven current

HyperNotes archives and are included in this folder for your review. As you read

each of the archives text files - you'll understand the time, skills and efort

that went into their unique design and stack qualities. The mos current release

is also included in this folder and should soon be available from the above noted

urls location also.

Status of the stacks:

The author of HyperNotes writes: "HyperNotes is teachware (shareware for

educaton). You may distribute the software. If you find this product useful,

please donate a few dollars to your local school."
