This is Version 1.1 of HyperFamily IIGS.
HyperFamily is a HyperCard IIGS stack with complete informatio storage,
organization, and printing features for a family tree of up to 13 generations.

technique for hiliting HyperCard IIGS buttons in color. With the previous
version, it was possible to leave a hilited transparent button atop a rectangular
button. This made it necessary to hide the transparent button manually.

I took the FieldDumper stack that was converted by AFL Marty and staff (Thanks
guys!) and made several improvments on it. This stack will scan a selected stack
and collect all the fields in it. After the collection process you may:
o view the fields on the screen
o dump the report to printer in text format
o save the report to disk as a text file
You may interrupt the scan at any time and save everything that was collected up
to that point. This is my first attempt at any real scripting but I think it
turned out well. Most of the main scripts are from other stacks but have been
altered to work in this stack. See the stack info button for details on proper
credit. I've put this through as many tests as I can think of, but I could have
missed something. If I did...let me know. Comments are welcome.

This is a very excellent Synthlab Player from Eric Lacquehay of France. This
player is a HCGS stack and will allow the sequential playing of up to 20 Synthlab
Songs (you need Tool 35). I have made several disks which when selected act a
albums and all the songs play in order. He asks $5 shareware fee, but I am sure
you will agree after using this that it is easily worth twice that. Now if
someone could develop the same for SoundSmith.

2. Use a program called "Stripper.System" (use QuickFinder to search for
Stripper.System) to strip the 32 byte MacBinary header from the file.
Stripper.System should automatically recognize this header and prompt you for a
new file name.
3. Transfer the stripped Macintosh HyperMover file to your Macintosh with Apple
File Exchange. Use the default translation.
4. Use StuffIt to unStuff the file.

This stack will convert the older "version 1.1" of my personal inventory stack
into the newer version 1.3 (if you don't have v.1.1, then go download v.1.3
instead - it's faster). Items already in the inventory will not be affected by
the update, but you should always do major changes on a spare copy (just in
case). The biggest change since v.1.1 is a 25% speed up in the main script.
This stack is not locked, so feel free to poke around and see how I make one
stack update the scripts of another stack...

This Shrinkit GS file contains the latest version of my personal inventory stack.
This release is about 25% faster than the prior version and I've included
details on the changes (for others looking to speed their stacks up) in the
"About" box.
Users of version 1.1 of this stack should get the "updater" stack instead - it
will convert a Personal Inventory System v.1.1 stack into a v.1.3 stack without
disturbing the items in inventory (update a spare copy just to be sure you're not
having a bad day).
