A few days ago I've shuffeled the monitors on my desk and now have enough space to run Haiku on a monitor in portrait mode. Beta 5 has been released not long ago, so I thought it was time to give it another go.
Everything is pretty snappy on my HP Thin Client T520, where Elementary OS is just barely usable.
Sadly, Lagrange crashes when resizing its window. It runs fine though otherwise.

I asked Skyjake about the resize crash and he said it's a bug in SDL on Haiku. Hope we can eventually get whoever is maintaining that library to address it.

Back to daily driving on bare metal an HP Elitebook 820 after years of daily driving on a Core 2 Duo Dell desktop. Beta 5 is smooth!

I'm still running it on my Thinkpad E555. Swapped the wifi card and everything else works.
Web browsing is VERY rough due to the cancer that of Javascript-everywhere, but otherwise everything is good.

Loving beta 5. I noticed you can maximize Lagrange without it crashing. But anything else does cause crashing. VVVVV for free is an awesome little perk and I think it's a pretty nice indie game.
Ah, thank you, I didn't try this. I am now writing this in a maximized Lagrange window in HaikuOS on my HP T520 thinclient - nice :)
Any HaikuOs Users here?
