@edanosborne my best wishes and i hope you never run out of coffee, you will need it ;) · 4 months ago
@bavarianbarbarian Ah, well this would be a bachelor's degree (BEng, to me specific), so it should be a bit easier. Still not a piece of cake in the park, but not rocket surgery either. · 4 months ago

@edanosborne if you're smart enough, why not. I've been working almost all my life as an unix sysadmin and haven't mastered all aspects of that grad operation system family. cybersecurity is such a wide field, in my humbe optinion, focus one thing and be not just good, be better ;) that was a mistake i made, i tried to learn everything about every unix i got in my fingers, from BSD, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux etc... I can handle IBM mainframes, Sun Enterprise and even old BS/2000 boxes. But none of them at a master degree. i should have focused on one or two of them. but it doesn't matter anymore, i am a gardener now ;) · 4 months ago
@bavarianbarbarian A bit of everything, really, but there's also a bit on cyber forensics. · 4 months ago
@edanosborne great!!! grats. what kind of security? code auditing? network security? hardware engineering? · 4 months ago
@edanosborne congrats, great job! that's a big momentous landmark to go through, getting to a college or university and getting to study to become degree certified in something you love. GL HF, meet some cool people along the way! · 4 months ago
@jo Cybersecurity. It's what I'm interested in and what I'm good at. · 4 months ago
