ANSWER...
I have a Commodore 1084S connected to my Apple //GS. I got the monitor
cheap and hooked it up myself. It works as good as any GS monitor
available from Apple. To make the connection, you'll need the following.
Analog RGB monitor cable to hook up to the Amiga 500
D-Sub Male 15-Pin connector with pins and solder pot contacts
Soldering Iron
Solder
Solder Soaker or a Solder Sucker
Heat Shrink
Heat Gun
Wire Cutters
Wire Stripper
Circuit Tester
Small Phillips Screwdriver
You may also want to get the connector casing, I don't have one, you
really don't need it. One other thing, it would help if you had a
third hand...
Remove the 23 pin connector from the monitor cable. You may want to
use a hammer to remove the silver Commodore connector case, then again
you could use the small phillips screwdriver. In anycase, you won't need
the Commodore 23 Pin connector or the casing.
