Due to the limited visual capabilities and non-commercial appeal I would guess that Gemini wont become the porn distribution protocol of choice to deliver it, let alone with some amount of DRM or at least Vimeo-level of download protection.
+1 regarding moderation in combination with letting it grow if people want to bring up sexual or erotic subjects or post such contents. It's a natural part of human life after all.

I am considering posting my NSFW art here but I want to wait a bit so I know what I am doing. Basically all of it is under 100 KB, even some gifs I made.
How do I label posts/comments as NSFW? Using the tag #nsfw or having <NSFW> in the title or something else?

Comments in an NSFW-tagged discussion don't have to be separately labeled. In a non-NSFW discussion, I recommend starting the comment with "NSFW:"
When linking to a NSFW page, append "(NSFW)" to the link label.
