Any other PostmarketOS users in the UK affected by 3G turn off on here? If so, what are your plans for calls until PMOS supports VoLTE? I really don't want to have to resort to a mainstream mobile but even the likes of Lineage say you may have to make a call with factory OS to enable VoLTE before it'll work on the FOSS offering.

Not been on Gemini for a good few days on account of killing my Edge install of PostmarketOS. Following an apk upgrade I lost use of the modem, WiFi and BT. Figured it was a firmware issue and so did an apk fix on two firmware packages (one was for the SOC specifically), rebooted and... got to Unl0cker but the bloody digitiser wasn't working. I managed to get into the debug terminal via USB with picocom and discovered that somehow unzstd doesn't seem to be present in the initramd image to...

pmos on jolla — tried pmbootstrap first time today. it knew about jolla device, only in edge, but alas the device works only under vendor kernel 3.4. also i guess it is not possible to install pmos to emmc on this device, it can only booted bf issuing a command when connected to the computer in fastboot mode. i wanted to install sxmo, and sxmo booted once, but i saw its screen only for two seconds, then it went black and volume or power buttons didn't work, i guess device was hung. sxmo with...

PostmarketOS 23.06 SP1 released — Well it looks like I'm late to the party this release. Three days ago 23.06 SP1 was released, see linlk for more info.

The new release of PostmarketOS dropped a couple of days ago and I managed to upgrade lastnight. Autoscreen rotation on the OnePlus6/6T didn't make it in so I've got my fingers crossed for the next ServicePack. New power menu doesn't have a reboot option for now so have to reboot from the terminal. The upgrade went smoothly though and so far I've not noticed any ill effects. The new power options are a welcome addition too. Looks like switching from performance mode can buy you a couple of...

Just seen on the postmarketOS mastadon feed that auto screen rotate and in call screen deactivation is now working. It's not merged yet but but the MR looks to have been submitted 2 weeks ago. Also, includes auto screen brightness and compass.

The "new" OP6T arrived! — My replacement OP6T arrived yesterday after I finished work :) Not got PostmarketOS on it yet though. Spent some of lastnight scp'ing several directories from my current mobile to a backup folder on my x270. Hoping I can install pmbootstrap on my Linux laptop, build and flash an image before heading to see my Dad today but maybe I'm been a bit optimistic. The scp'ing over WiFi took a while lastnight (circa 1MB/s) not sure why it was so poor but I think I'll try doing...

I've been using gPodder-Adaptive since I started out with mobile Linux on an OG PinePhone. It's one of the maiin apps on my device besides Lagrange and I really can't fault it but I'm curious, are any of you using a different client and how does it compare?
