Crostic Nines is a daily acrostic word-guessing puzzle. Given nine clues numbered 0 through 8, you must guess all the words in the puzzle to win, including the "crostic nine"βan additional nine-letter word formed along a vertical line down the middle of the board. The word list contains more than 5,000 entries, all of which are sourced from BahΓ‘'Γ texts.

To guess a word, click on its clue. Guesses must consist of letters only.
Correct guesses will be fully revealed on the board. Incorrect guesses will cause any matching letters to be revealed on the board. Guesses are tracked; you can review all your previous guesses on the in-game help screen.
The list includes words in various forms, including plurals and third-person verbs (-s), past tenses (-ed), gerunds (-ing), and adverbs (-ly). Proper names (e.g. people, places) are not included. Archaic forms of words (e.g. "giveth" instead of "gives") are not included, but some words that are uncommon in modern speech are included.
You can ask the game for hints when you get stuck. The first time you play, you are allowed a total of three hints. Each new day, you accrue three more hints, to a maximum of nine. If you run out of hints, you will have to wait until the following day to get more.
You win when all the letters on the board have been revealed. When this happens, the game will end and you will see your statistics for the game. You can also give up early if you have no hope of guessing all the words, but your score will suffer. To get the highest score, you should try to guess all the words in as few guesses as possible while using as few hints as possible (or none). Score bonuses are added for guessing the crostic nine and for completing the game.
