I don't know why anyone would trust a word they say. They just repeat what the Party political officer tells them. It's worse than it was in the Soviet Union.

Fake news. Yes, everything that Hillary (who is obviously all over this) doesn't like is 'fake news'. In the meantime, the news outlets lied, shamelessly, covering up for Biden, and spreading complete disinformation about Republicans.
Trump "is an existential threat to Democracy". Really. Maybe run proper primaries -- it's just a part of checks and balances, where people can eliminate total morons from running and losing.
Trump is a fascist? Has anyone actually looked up the definition of fascism? Current administration is up there: tight control of media, militarism, belief in social hierarchy (shut up already, Hillary!), disinformation, tight integration with big business, forcible suppression of opposition, bypassing the election process...
"It's a war on women". Thank you, Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Another old fart Democrat who wouldn't leave, and instead left a mess for everyone.
I am happy that this bullshit chapter of US history is closing, with the current administration leaving with a full diaper.

This is called the horseshoe theory and is generally not recognized to be accurate. Proponents of the far left and the far right do not occupy the same political space and don't share the same values. The left believes in equality, and taken to its extreme you find communism. The right believes in hierarchy and taken to its extreme you find dictators and theocracies. The reason for the apparent similarities is that extremism in any form requires a certain set of political tools in order to implement the ideology. Tools such as authoritarianism.

Equality as defined by the current left (currently dubbed as 'equity', because equality it is not) is pure racism and bias, by definition. I sure hope that embarrassing chapter is done.
Hillary defined the hierarchy by pointing out that she is far above "the basket of deplorables". And really other than the elites and a handful of LGBT members, whom do they represent? Do democrats speak to the working class? To the middle class, even? Women? They failed women miserably! The reproductive rights fiasco is entirely on Democrats. Non-gay men, of course, should just crawl away in shame. There is your hierarchy.
Authoritarianism? Again, more examples on the left than the right. Warmongering. Using geshtapo and the courts to suppress opposition. Controlling the media. Feeding disinformation. Using newsmedia, social media, music and movie stars to manufacture consent. Left dominates.
I am writing this because I hope Democrats learn from this instead of just blaming others (as they always do) for this spectacular failure in judgment, planning, and execution. Maybe in 4 years it will become a viable party, if they get rid of Hillary and Obama and stop lying.
