It's my great joy to announce the first-ever(?) prayer applet in Geminispace, rosarium.vigilia.cc. It gives you the prayers of the Rosary in Latin, with ASCII art and features like you can pick your own Mystery to meditate on, or change the date. Click through it and I would love to hear your feadback! It is "coincidental" but the release falls on the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary - this was not planned, but I'm delighted that I get to release this in honour of Our Lady, to whom it is dedicated.

So a rosary, I've learn to do a 'Notre Père' for each small beads and a Ave Maria for each bigger beads. Are there different rosary for different prayers and prayers grouping?

That’s the core of it, yes! And that is enough in itself. You would also try to use each set of 10 beads to meditate on an episode from Christ’s or his Mother’s life - the “mysteries” - such as His birth, the resurrection, etc. So the custom developed in some places that they added a little bit on to each Hail Mary, to keep mental focus on these. That’s the method I chose to implement. (Might add an option to switch between “extended” and “simple” form). But the “simple” form is enough and more common when praying together.

space_elf: it should be fixed now! it was a typo, it was counting the number of decades up to 4 instead of 5... thank you so much for flagging it up.
EDIT: ... or so I thought. Fifth mystery works correctly now, but the ending still crashes. Sorry about this. I'll need a deep dive into older code!

@requiem: thanks for patching it up so quick and putting it out there in the first place! Out of curiosity, what is the point of changing the date for the rosary? I assume there is some reason.

So each day, traditionally, has a mystery assigned (Monday - Joyful, Tuesday, Sorrowful, Wednesday - Glorious; then it starts over); and on Sundays what mystery you pray depends on the season (Glorious in Ordinary Time; Sorrowful in Lent; Joyful in Advent and Christmas). So the script checks what date and what season a given date falls in and adjusts the prayers accordingly. It can be useful if eg you want to check what mysteries you should be praying next Sunday etc.
