just finished registering my new ID certicate. I didn't understand why the last step (pressing enter after password input at the 'add alterantive' screen) didn't work. tried it several times including after reloading Lagrange.
Always got an error message "resource not found" or something like that.
After a while I figured that I had two windows / panes open on bbs.geminispace.org. In one of them I had the new certificate loaded, but on the other I had the older one still loaded. I switched the other pane to the new ID and then it worked. I now have both the old and the new registered as intended.
Latest Lagrange version from Flathub
It may benefit others like me who do not think much before doing things like that to have a warning about having multiple panes / sessions, either as part of the process itself or documented in the relevant Help section
