Isle will enable a handful of people within a group to provide storage and private network services to everyone else in the group. This sub-group will be responsible for maintaining a set of always-on computers, at least one of which must have a public IP address. Isle is specifically designed to be run on consumer grade hardware, like a gaming PC or Raspberry Pi, over a home internet connection.
Presently Isle is Linux-only, and command-line only. Bringing Isle to Windows with a friendly GUI is being actively worked on.
