250g self-raising flour 125g butter 125g demerara sugar 1 tbsp milk 1 egg, beaten 35g sultanas
1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
2. Rub the butter into the flour.
3. Add the sugar and sultanas.
4. Add the egg and milk and make a stiff mixture.
5. Line a baking tray with parchment.
6. Put the mixture onto the tray in 12 heaps.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Makes 12 buns.
