Hello! This is a new instance of skyjake’s Bubble forum, of which the first and flagship instance is at bbs.geminispace.org. This instance Ósanwë is intended for careful and thoughtful discussion between people in an open, humble, and curious mindset.
While skyjake's BBS is great for a wide variety of things, Ósanwë is meant to be a more focused space for serious (and seriously fun!) discussion as a means of collaborative learning.
I plan to use this space to host discussions on topics that interest me. Feel free to do the same, provided you follow the code of conduct.
I’ve already created a large number of general subspaces covering most academic categories.
If you would like to moderate a more specialized subspace, ask and I will create it for you if the topic is appropriate.
Ósanwë means thinking together. I chose a name in the Quenya language (which is a fictional language invented by Tolkien) because I love Tolkien’s work and I wanted a name with meaning which isn’t tied directly to any real culture which to people have connections.
Please note that email notifications are not configured for this instance of Bubble, so if you add an email address in Settings it will not receive any notifications.
