A Bash Script to Process Stereophotos

I made this bash script to batch sort my stereophotos ready for printing.

As ever, it's made of bits and pieces cobbled together from forums, stack exchanges, etc.

It may not be the most elegant solution, but it does the job.

It works with JPG files, and requires imagemagick and GNU parallel to be installed.

First, each image is sorted depending on its orientation, and is put into a corresponding folder.
If the image is portrait, it is resized to fit on a 6x4" print stereocard.
If the image is landscape, it is resized to fit on a 8x3" stereocard.
Once all the images have been sorted and resized, pairs of the 8x3" stereocards are appended. This puts two stereocards onto one 8x6" print.

✂️ 8x6" prints can later be cut in half to make two separate stereocards.

The final image sizes allow for prints with a resolution of 684dpi.
