@hanzbrix, I've taken your suggestion, with the encouragement of @mrrobinhood5, and indulged myself in a game of farkle. I was instantly drawn in. As for Maze of Murders... I have yet to try it out. I've gotten as far as loging in with a TLS, but thought better of entering the maze, since it was already 2am, and 5am dog duty comes pretty damn early. · 1 week ago

@user999 I think mrrobinhood5 summed it up well, I do the same. 😂

Maze of Murders is exactly as described, you are in a maze, searching for treasure and murder, so are a bunch of other Geminauts. 😂

It's very fun and good ASCII graphics, the only bad thing about it, is that the mazes are rather big, so getting into dead ends means long treks back. · 1 week ago

Well @mrrobinhood5, I think that sells it. I feel compelled now to farkle. · 1 week ago

@hanzbrix, Cosmos and antenna definately need bookmarking. I can understand farkle, a little I guess. But Maze of Murders needs more explanation than "A multiplayer game of exploration, treasure, and murder!" I might want to try it, but I don't want to commit to something I don't know much of. As far as farkle goes, do you play it? Is it a game of chance, or is there some amount of skill, however little, involved? · 1 week ago

@johano, dankon. Did I use that right? I think and hope that's Esperanto, and no I don't know it. I've always been intrigued by it, and then my negative self-talk would break in and say, "when will you use it out here in the middle of nowhere," or "Do you really have the time for another hobbly/interest?" But anyway, thank you, again. · 1 week ago

@user999 There is always Maze of Murders and farkle, some good games with lots of addicted players.

Skyjakes cosmos or Antenna are good places to find new gemlogs or keep up on old ones.

The search engines are pretty cool too, if you want to just explore stuff. · 1 week ago

Hello @hanzbrix. Thank you. If you're still exploring gemini, as your page says, please let me know of any cool places you've come across. I usually bounce around from here to bbs, to cosmic.voyage, to random capsules on my tilde community. I'd like to see something new and different. · 1 week ago
