I have a story about Patricia Cornwell, which I may write about in my gemlog, but I really enjoyed this 1st Kay Scarpetta book.

Slimer : Harry Adam Knight

HAK books - of which I've now read two - are disgusting; The Fungus, whcih I read last year, grossed me out. Slimer, although slightly less body horror, was equally disgusting. Strong sexual themes, often violent.

The Mist : Stephen King

Another King, though this one I read in a day. Liked it, though I have seen the Mark Wahlberg movie, which somewhat coloured my perception of it.

'Salem's Lot' : Stephen King

I have just about everything written by Stephen King, though I've gotten round to reading maybe 5% of his output. 'Salem's Lot was an unexpected surprise!

Nightmares & Dreamscapes : Stephen King

I am a fond admirer of Stephen King's short story collections; this is a great collection.
