Last night I was trying to figure out if VLC or MPV can be fed with playlists that have links to invidious instances but unfortunately that does not work. A bit of a tech bummer...

For something as old as you tubeone would expect it to be culturally in tune with the internet ethos at least a bit more,

Google is like a black hole, it swallows everything, yet nothing can ever freely make it way back out

@userfxnet Well, I'm looking for an 'ultra-simple' way to make a playlist.m3u that i can upload in my gemspace. Post a link to that playlist. So that everyone can download the playlist.m3u and listen to whatever is listed. Without the need to log in to any circus tent.

And no need to install any additional software.

I thought that I could do this with invidious links, but aparently this is not the case..

I will check gemini://auragem.letz.dev/youtube tomorrow. As it got very late this evenight. · 7 months ago

or if you don't feel like messing with API settings between commandline, there's always auragem's youtube proxy.
