@dimkr Does tootik support voting in polls (and even making them)?
For that matter, how much RAM is needed? I found https://tinykvm.com/ a while back and they seem pretty good value but at only 384MB of RAM, it might not be sufficient?

@DdlyH Yes, see the help page of your instance (when signed in) or https://github.com/dimkr/tootik/blob/main/front/README.md#polls. Regarding RAM, 256 MB should be very generous for a small instance (my instance consumes ~160 MB in total, including systemd and tootik).
@dimkr Awesome! How does boosting and favouriting work in Tootik? I'm considering setting up an instance (or should I join yours first to try it out?)
[Edit] Hmm... I created an account on your instance to try it out. I guess that you must have based some of the code on Honk as there's no "favourite" function that I can see. That would be a good addition if possible (I use Favourites all the time) but I understand if that's too much work. What could also be good is a way to request accounts rather than letting the entire world sign up as that will get tricky to moderate (as m.s found out)?

@DdlyH Nope, it's not based on Honk or any other fedi server. There are no "boosts" and "likes" in tootik, because they're addictive.
Started writing a quick setup guide to help people interested in setting up their own tootik instance: [https link]
