::: after few weeks with GhostBSD as my main desktop system - I love BSD and after more than 20 years on Linux, I'll stay with Ghost/FreeBSD! | screenshot → https://assets.chaos.social/media_attachments/files/112/898/122/600/243/500/original/900ba7254d1690d0.png

This is awesome! I've loved FreeBSD since I 'hopped' over from Linux a while back. @bavarianbarbarian wow that is a lot to drink hah! · 1 week ago
@teekay, I had no problem with boot.. I have Dell Latitude E5450 · 2 weeks ago
I recently also installed GhostBSD. Even though the live installer USB worked fine, the installed version doesnt boot (kernel panic), thus ending my plans to switch from Linux to BSD. Got it running in a VM though, going to attempt to port FreeBSD to the Pinephone Pro. · 2 weeks ago
@discrust faster than FreeBSD? then i should try this, for i can do a FBSD base install within 2 minutes depending on the hardware... · 2 weeks ago
@captainrantcraft, I chose GhostBSD because of the fast installation process (faster than FreeBSD), with GhostBSD retaining the functionality of FreeBSD :) · 2 weeks ago
been using BSD since almost 30 years now, had the honor to meet some main developers. one of them is living near to me, and i i can promise, they can drink as much as BSD is stable xD · 2 weeks ago
Cool! I've been tempted to give the BSDs a closer look. Why did you choose GhostBSD over the others? · 2 weeks ago
